My name is Ana Brown and this eportfolio is to document my student life, work, and experience through Salt Lake Community College. A little bit about me, I'm a returning student currently majoring in Business Accounting/Management. My education GOALS are to graduate SLCC with my AS in Business and continue my education at the University of Utah in their business program. From there I want to successfully graduate with my BA is Business Accounting and score a sweet internship at my ultimate dream job working as an accountant at Goldman Sachs. I realize these goals are definitely shooting for the stars, and I love that about myself. I'm always striving to be the best that I can be.
Away from school duties I'm also a wife to the most amazing husband named Logan and a mommy to our sweet baby girl Lewa. My little family is a huge reason why I decided to return back to school to finish. Lewa has given me more purpose, clarity and greater desire to achieve my wildest dreams! I want her to know that if she works hard for her dreams, she can do whatever she puts her mind to.
Logan has been the most supportive husband I could ever ask for! I thank him for being that example to me as he finishes his schooling at the University of Utah. I also have an amazing family at home that understand the importance of education. I've watched my three older brothers return back to school each receiving a degree in their field of work. With a plan, a desire and a support system I'm striving to fulfill my very own education dreams! I end with a snippet of a quote from one of the greatest, that states, "Our greatest fear is NOT that we're inadequate, our deepest fear is that we're powerful beyond measure!" - Marianne Williamson
